Wrexham

Wrexham's six sites are run by Freedom Leisure for the council, and all use PlayFootball for online booking. No prices are published, and the centre pages say online bookings cannot currently be accepted, so phone or use the app if the calendar fails.

Grass pitches: how to book with the council

Many council grass pitches are allocated to clubs for the season; this is the council booking route, not live availability.

Wrexham County Borough Council

Contact the council; it is procuring an online pitch booking and payment system (market notice, July 2026).

    Good to know

    • Online booking: hourly slots can be booked up to 28 days ahead (centre pages) or 30 days (). Regular weekly slots go through an enquiry form, with a reply within 48 hours.
    • Prices: no price is shown on the centre or pages. Ask for the rate and whether floodlights cost extra.
    • Hours: centre pages show hours for one day only, so check the timetable.
    • Gwyn Evans: the page says "3G pitches" in the plural but gives no count or size, and its links could not be opened.
    • Not listed: a 2021 plan for a 3G at Ysgol y Grango was not confirmed as built. Council grass pitches are not covered because the only prices found date from 2016.
